PLAYING their first game of the season and on a full size pitch Okehampton started slowly with Crediton pushing them off the ball at the contact area.

This prompted Okehampton into action and following a good handling move Robbie Bell scored in the corner. Playing with more confidence the Okes ran in tries from Reece Peacock, Callum Hughes, Liam Bonnington and Luke Shinn, one converted by Brandon Horn.

The second half saw Crediton come more into the game and but for some good tackles could have scored two tries, with time running out Hallum Chapman broke a couple of tackles and forced his way over to score the final try of the match and with Jacob Horn converting. This rounded off a good team effort to start the season.
