OKEHAMPTON Rotary Club had its annual pairs challenge at North Tawton Rugby Club on Friday, September 16.

Although the numbers were a little down on the previous year, the evening proved to be a good social event. Competition was high with the previous year’s winners Ben Davis and Simon Court narrowly missing out to new champions Steve Sizmur and Rob Cole.

The Plate Trophy saw two Rotarians, president Rob Harman and Barry Ratcliffe, take on Helen Hadwill and Kym Tibbles, with the ladies winning.

The Rotary club expressed thanks to everyone that took part in the competition and extended its appreciation to North Tawton Rugby Club and especially to Donna Webber and Sarah Quick for supplying food, and assisting in the organisation of the evening.
