Seaton Town 0

Okehampton Argyle 0

OKEHAMPTON kept their recent undefeated run going with another draw.

They had four or five decent chances in the first half but good goalkeeping and defending kept the scoresheet blank.

At the other end, Okehampton defended well as a team. Goalkeeper Richard Bailey was only called upon twice but both efforts were weak and gave him no problems.

In the second half, Okehampton were under more pressure but coped well with any threat posed. They had a few decent chances but could not capitalise on them.

But with only seconds to go Okehampton almost shot themselves in the foot. A hopeful punt forward was casually dealt with by Graham Soby and his clearance went across the penalty box where a Seaton forward got his head to it — his header grazed the outside of the post of an open goal.

In the end this was a good point for Okehampton in the position they are in but they have got to start winning these kind of games as soon a point will not be good enough.

This week Okehampton are at home to Tap and Barrel who are flying high in the league. Kick-off 2.30pm. Players to be at the clubhouse at 1.30pm.
