THE official opening of Goose Fair by the mayor of Tavistock takes place at 6.15pm next Tuesday.
The town crier, Bob Rose, will call the opening by Rowlands Dodgems in Bedford car park — following this the mayors of the town and borough will take a tour of the fun fair.
Schoolchildren will be allowed free rides until 7pm.
