IT'S not too late for people to plough through the picturesque Plymouth Half Marathon to help beat meningitis.
Runners will join Meningitis Now's team for the popular 13.1-mile race that passes landmarks such as the seafront, Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played bowls, and harbour, on Sunday, April 27.
Full support will be given and everyone will receive a free running vest or T-shirt, and handy information pack including tips on how to prepare.
Meningitis Now, formed after Meningitis UK and Meningitis Trust, the founders of the meningitis movement in the UK, united in 2013.
The charity, which has almost 30 years' experience, exists to save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support.
Our vision is a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.
