I RECALL the fuss in your correspondence columns a few weeks back about whether one should drive over or around a mini-roundabout, and the traffic warden declared that he would book any driver he caught going over rather than around. I suggest he starts with Devon and Cornwall Police, since on February 10 at about 2.30pm I was approaching Tavistock from the Morwellham direction behind a police car. At Ford Street Post Office he turned right, down towards Drake?s statue, driving right over the mini-roundabout! Why should I religiously bother obeying the rules when the police themselves show such blatant disregard for them? A Wynn-Jones
