A SUCCESSFUL and enjoyable coffee morning was held at the home of Cathy Fethers, when Cathy and Tricia Stock held the event in aid of Macmillan

Nurses.

There was a constant stream of customers and everyone enjoyed the cakes and coffee — £30 was made for the Macmillan nurses and Tricia and Cathy expressed thanks to everyone for their support, both in person and with donations.

HARVEST services in Northlew will be as follows: at the parish church this Sunday (October 6), (harvest supper on October 7) and, at the Methodist Church on October 13 and 14.

THE road from Stone Barn to Eastacombe Cross will be closed from October 7 to approximately November 22.

This is to enable bridge repairs to be carried out and diversions will be sign-posted.
