SOUTH West celebrity Trevor Beer's new exhibition 'Penmaster' will be on display at Dartmoor National Park Authority's High Moorland Visitor Centre in Princetown from next week.

Penmaster is a celebration of Trevor Beer's 'Nature Watch' column which runs six days a week in the Western Morning News. Trevor is an established author and artist and has championed nature, nature conservation, folklore and countryside matters for decades via his regular columns and artwork.

The exhibition will also promote the publication of the third book in Trevor's Nature Watch series with a special book signing day.

The exhibition will start on September 14 and Trevor will be at the High Moorland Visitor Centre from 11am to 1pm on Saturday October 13.

Trevor said: 'Wildlife is my life and has been since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I always loved drawing with pencils at school and soon discovered my favourite medium, pen and ink, which I use to this day.

'I also love using water colour and have included some new works for this exhibition that incorporate pen work.'

Penmaster is on display at the centre until October 31.
