TWO local musical giants meet to give a truly distinctive flavour to the next Wren Music Night at the Octagon Theatre, Okehampton. This Saturday sees the return of the popular music series with a real ale bar, informal setting and plenty of good music.
Songwriter Bully mixes challenging and poignant lyrics with a warm, approachable style which has made him a favourite at many clubs and festivals.
Exeter-based musician Dave Wood brings his totally unique finger-picking, laid-back, Afro-celtic-blues-slide guitar playing.
These two together make it a very special night for those interested in new songs or great guitar playing.
Hosting the night for Wren will be bagpiper David Faulkner, who plays a huge variety of tunes on both English border pipes and French bagpipes.
The concert starts at 8pm, with the bar open from 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and £3 (concessions) and there's all the usual quality extras you would expect from a Wren event.
