RICHARD Hamer is the new president of Tavistock Lions Club and on receiving the chain of office from the outgoing president Vicky Tucker, he thanked her for an excellent year of service to the club.

Vicky said how much she had enjoyed leading the Lions for the last 12 months, during which she also found the time to get married and she wished Richard well for his term of office.
