TAVISTOCK Netball League will increase in size this year, with a number of new sides set to join the league for the season.
The announcement of a second season has encouraged clubs from around the region to enter new teams and help build up the league. The first new team to join will be last season?s Plymouth & District division 2 champions SSG Training and Consultancy.
Sponsors SSG Training and Consultancy, who are involved in Health and Safety training, have donated the team?s kit as well as affiliating the entire squad to the All England Netball Association.
Two new teams are looking to enter the league. They are keen to start playing but are still seeking sponsorship from local companies.
The teams have been formed from the successful Sunday morning training sessions held at Tavistock College over the last few months. The sessions will continue at the college for the next few weeks for any individuals or teams interested in playing in the league.
