HORRABRIDGE Primary School received a cash boost recently, to buy much needed school resources.
To give the early readers at the primary school the best start, the Horrabridge Cavaliers and the school PTA generously donated £600 each so that the school could purchase valuable phonics resources, including phonetically decodable books, interactive online books, whiteboards, phonic dices and high interest books. These resources have inspired exciting, creative lessons and after seeing the interactive books online the children have laid the toys to rest and been keen to access them in their choosing time.
One child said: 'Wow, reading really is fun.'
