A GREAT success! That was the verdict after the inaugural meeting of a new watchdog group in West Devon. Sandra Turnock, who called the meeting for anyone involved in planning issues regarding Dartmoor National Park Authority, said she was delighted with the turnout at the first meeting of the Dartmoor Vigilantes, held at the Royal Standard at Mary Tavy. Mrs Turnock said a second meeting will now be held at the same venue at 7.30pm on Wednesday May 24, to which planning officer Chris France of the DNPA has been invited.
