WEEKLY drop-in centres for families in parts of South East Cornwall are being launched as the first step towards children's centres across the area. The sessions at Delaware are designed to give families a chance to see what they will soon be getting from the centres as well as having a say in what they want from them. Children's centres offer access to health services, support for families, a creche and access to training and employment advice for parents and carers. Six such centres are due to be up and running in the Caradon area by 2008. Sessions run at Delaware Primary School every Wednesday between 9.30am and 11.30am. Representatives and information from a range of organisations, including family learning, health visitors and JobCentrePlus.
