HAVING decided to have a new roof, I booked J&R Scaffolding, of Belstone. But my timing was as bad as the weather. The worst June on record brought torrential rain and gale-force wind.

I fully expected the scaffolding company to cry off — bad weather, health and safety — both would have been reasons to cancel.

But they turnded up on time and worked right through all the weather could throw at them. What's more they were polite and professional and never grumbled.

I commend them highly for their good old fashioned service.
