OKEHAMPTON'S Aidan Bostock is national champion of both the British Judo Council and the Amateur Judo Association in the competitive U16s age weight group of under 66kg.
He won both national titles just before his 15th birthday in June, as AJA Champion he represented them Internationally at Mierlo in Holland in the U17s age band and managed to achieve a very respectable fifth place.
Ella Percival and Mike Crowhurst also medalled at the BJC Nationals, Ella winning Silver at U44kg and Mike bronze at U55kg; Ella also won bronze at the AJA nationals.
The Okehampton trio also train regularly at high performance Tamar Judo Centre in Saltash.
