OKEHAMPTON?S squash teams were back in action last week with the first team away to D&E Exeter.
Okehampton had a full strength side after prolonged injuries but just lost to strong opponents, Steve Yeo just losing 3-2, Andy Glossop going down 3-1 and Donald Rooke coming through comfortably to take the match 3-1
Martin Leyton, having been out for eight weeks, was back to his old form, convincingly beating his opponent 3-0 and taking the last game 9-1. Arnie Searle just lost 3-2. The first team were defeated three matches to two.
The second team were home to Crediton, again just losing three matches to two. Ian Pitts lost 3-1, Greg Vick losing 3-2, Robert Barkwell also losing 3-2. Wins came from Ben Jones 3-0 and Phil Allen 3-0.
