THE finishing touches have been put on the latest production by the Northlew Amateur Dramatic Society during dress rehearsals earlier this week.
Martin Perry, a member of the society, said: 'Rehearsals have gone fine, and we hope we can put on a good show for everyone coming to watch. It should be a fun night for everyone who comes along.'
The group are putting on their pantomime 'Calamity Dame and the Lost Treasure', an original production being written by the group.
The panto promises a whimsical performance full of adventure and fun involving an exciting hunt to find some lost Egyptian treasure.
The show starts on Friday, February 17 at 7.30pm in the Victory Hall. The following day, there will be two performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Doors open half an hour before each performance.
Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children, and include a glass or wine or a soft drink on arrival. Refreshments including hot pasties will be available, and there will be a raffle.
All seats will be numbered. For tickets, call Martin Perry on 01409 221376.
