A SMALL group has started in Dousland to sing madrigals, motets and other unaccompanied music, English and European, mostly from the Renaissance period.

New residents Jane Emberson and Robert Powell were long-time members of Sneak's Noise, a similar group in Perth, Australia. They are keen to continue exploring this lovely music, simply for pleasure.

Anyone who would like to join this informal group contact 01822 852442. It currently meets fortnightly on Mondays at 7.30pm. The next meeting is Monday February 20.
