CALLINGTON'S millennium music festival features a celebration of American music later this month.
An all-girl choir from Wisconsin in the USA will be performing at the Callington Community College on Saturday June 24. The school's choir will also perform, so too the college wind band.
The concert starts at 7pm. Tickets from the school.
Continuing the American music weekend on the Sunday is a concert from the St Mewan Sinfonia.
It will be performing a varied programme including American show tunes from Gershwin along with Barber, Vaughan Williams, Greig and others.
The concert begins at 7.30pm, tickets available on the door. All proceeds in aid of repairs to St Mary's and St Sampson's.
Contrary to details published elsewhere the orchestra will be performing at St Mary's church in Callington, not the South Hill church.
Details of all the events are available in the new yellow issue of the festival leaflet.
