AN evening of live music, comedy and performance poetry is on offer in Chagford next weekend.

Hoot Cabaret, compered by Jackie Juno, presents the Invisible Opera Company of Tibet, the Bard of Bodmin, Rob Barret, musician Peter Farrie and performance poets Simon Williams, Susan Taylor, plus open mic spots, at The Globe on Saturday January 30.

The event will raise money for Friends of the Earth. Tickets are £5 in advance from 01626 835802, £7 on the night.

Doors open at 8.30pm — all welcome.
