MUSIC, bands and beer will be entertaining people at the open air, family event, BereFest, this summer.

Gruff Nuts, the Rock 'N' Roll Outlaws and Kitty and the Lost Boys will be providing music for the mini festival, and a barbecue and hog roast will be available. There will also be a beer tent for the adults and children's entertainment to occupy the youngsters.

The event has been organised by BereCom which is three combined community groups — Bere Alston Regeneration Partnership, Chatterbox Parents Group and TiddlyWinks Toddler Group.

BereCom held a similar event last year raising almost £2,000 for the groups. This year's BereFest will be raising money for BereCom and also for Help for Heroes.
