I WAS interested to read (October 13) how wonderful the deputy town clerk thought Goose Fair was, I?m glad the geese were ?top of the bill? for a change, but do we have to have the fairground dominating the car park for so long? Why can?t they move it to the Meadows? Not only was it a nightmare to get to the Wharf for a quiet cup of tea ? anything but, with the loud music from the fair. And as for the 250 traders ? we have so much to offer in this area, and I felt the stalls were an insult to the town. Where were all the local traders?
