TV chef Paul Rankin will be giving a master class for the Kelly College Catering Team and other visiting chefs from the local area on October 17.

Paul will be preparing canapes and a gourmet meal as part of the Kelly College Performing Arts Centre Appeal, which will provide Tavistock and the college with one of the best concert and theatre spaces in the area.

Parents, friends and supporters of the college will be attending the dinner in the evening, where the chef will be introducing each course to the guests.

The event has been organised by Sodhexo, caterers at Kelly College, with whom Paul works regularly.

Paul and his wife Jeanne started out in the restaurant business 14 years ago transforming Northern Ireland from a gourmet desert into a foodie haven with their former restaurant Roscoff, the first Michelin rated restaurant in Northern Ireland.

Now they have several restaurants in Belfast and for more than a decade have fronted a plethora of television programmes including three series of their own programme Gourmet Ireland.

Paul also has his own show The Rankin Challenge and has appeared on Masterchef, Who'll do the Pudding?, The Good Food Show and Ready Steady Cook.
