MOUNT Kelly families are supporting the Plymouth-based charity ‘Open Hearts Open Borders’.

Open Hearts Open Borders (OHOB) was established in direct response to the current refugee crisis sweeping the Middle East.

From small beginnings the charity has grown as a result of the real desire, not only to provide in-country aid but to look also at long-term solutions and to welcome refugees into our hearts and communities.

Parents and pupils have donated much needed vegetarian food, baby items and warm clothing, which have now been delivered to the OHOB dept in Saltash.

Once an entire shipping container is full it will be sent out to Syrian refugees.
