THREE Mount House girls' hockey teams have been in action and all three recorded good wins in competitive matches
The Mount House first seven took control of their match against Plymouth College after a slow start and a goalless first half. Lizzie Fearnley in midfield kept Plymouth's key players in check, and enabled the team to create many attacking chances through Tabitha Unsworth-White and Issy Cox. The team maintained a high work rate and emerged deserved 3-0 winners with goals from Izzy Kidner, Issy Cox and Lizzie Fearnley.
The U12s side had an enjoyable game and used their skills well. They proved too strong for their Plymouth College opponents, and goals from Oenone Rodgers and Francesca Thornton-Wood gave them a 2-1 victory.
Against Maynard School, the Mount House U11s B girls worked well as a team. Sophie West was competitive and skilful and deserved her hat-trick. She was supported well by Siobhan Bird who added a brace herself for a 5-0 victory.
