THE Mount House U9 girls' hockey squad welcomed a team from Horrabridge Primary School to play a friendly game on a dull, chilly autumn afternoon. It was the first time the two schools have faced each other, and they were watched by an enthusiastic group of teachers and parents from both schools.

In a game of two halves, the home team had the upper hand in the first period, but the visitors were able to hit back and had the last word, scoring late in the second. But this did not stop the hosts winning 5-3.

After the match the two teams (pictured above) enjoyed tea together in the Mount House dining hall, and both are looking forward to meeting again in the future.

n The Mount House U11 Girls' hockey teams played matches away at Kelly College, and all three came away with victories.

The Mount House U11 A team completed an unbeaten season with a convincing 9-0 win while the A team House ran out 2-0 winners.

The Mount House C team were also in great form winning 3-0.
