POLICE are seeking witnesses to an accident at Winkleigh in which a motorcyclist died. Emergency services were called to the A3124 near Four Season Village, Winkleigh shortly after 3pm on Monday, where a single motorcycle was believed to have struck a roadside verge. The rider, from Plymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene. Local diversions and restrictions were required until 8.30pm when the road was re-opened.
