THE Rotary Club of Roborough have moved the date of this year's Plymouth Motor Show to July to avoid a clash with other events being held around the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
The show is normally held in June, but organisers Roborough Rotary Club have settled on Friday to Sunday, July 5-7 as the new dates.
The three-day-event will be staged at Crownhill Fort and offer Plymouth area motor dealers a chance to show off their new models to prospective buyers with an eye on September's new registration date.
Rotary club committee member Ian Parker said the revised date had given the show a new edge.
He said: 'Plymouth Motor Show is well established as the city's leading motoring event and the jubilee celebrations made us think carefully about the date this year.
'The feedback we have had from dealers is very positive. We are looking forward to another successful show.'
With 28 sites and a number of newcomers at this year's event, the number of new models on show will be well into three figures.
