WOMEN volunteers are needed to represent the diverse Rape Crisis Service community, including women who are disabled, from all ethnic backgrounds, lesbians and bisexuals and of all ages. Devon Rape Crisis Service (RCS) offers free and confidential support to women in Devon who have experienced rape or sexual violence, now or in the past. All volunteers will provide support on the telephone helpline and for the email support service in Exeter and those who want to can carry out face-to-face support in the area where they live. The training is accredited by the Apt Awards and will take place in September and October, including a residential weekend. Deadline for applications is June 6.
