LANDSCAPE and Rural Affairs minister Jonathan Shaw met Dartmoor National Park Authority members and officers in a visit to the area last Tuesday. Mr Shaw discussed settlement issues, the vision for Dartmoor, landscape, conservation, farming, climate change and renewable energy issues. He also met with representatives from English Heritage, Natural England and the Duchy of Cornwall and community and spent time at the climate change exhibition at the High Moorland VIsitor Centre in Princetown. During the afternoon, the minister visited Dartmoor farmers Miles and Gail Fusdon to see their hydro-scheme.
