LEWDOWN got back to winning ways after three consecutive defeats with a real professional performance which resulted in three valuable points and their first clean sheet.

There was great defending at the back from Townsend, Butland, Clements and Brown.

Lewdown took the lead with a well taken goal from Vernon. They went 2-0 up with a goal from Hughes. Vernon got his second scoring direct from a corner.

Lewdown went 4-0 up early on in the second half with another well taken goal from Hughes.

Lewdown should have been 5-0 up with a goal from Perkins which was disallowed for off-side, but they did get their fifth, Harding finishing well after another good move.
