FIREFIGHTERS from Callington and Launceston attended a property fire at Trecombe, near Stoke Climsland, last Thursday (January 29).

Crews attended at 11.25pm and found a mobile home, measuring approximately ten metres by four metres, well alight and the fire had spread to an attached shed.

A request was made for more resources and an appliance from Launceston and water carrier from Devon were mobilised.

Gas cylinders were involved, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and proceeded to cool down the cylinders with high pressure hose reels. Western Power attended as an electric pole and wiring were involved.
