Mike Corey first in 10 mile cycle trial

THERE was a good entry of 12 cyclists who turned up last Thursday evening to participate in the first event of the Okehampton CC summer trial series. The 10 mile course traces the old A30 road from Bridestowe to Lewdown and back.

Mike Cory took the honours on the night clocking a time of 27.40 followed by Andy Reter with 28.24.

Last Wednesday club members Andy Retter and Simon Perrott rode in the Sid Valley cycle club 10 mile trial at Honiton. Finishing times: A Retter 25.04; S Perrett 27.35.
