A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office as strong winds are expected to hit Cornwall tomorrow (August 5).

The weather alert is in place from 6am until 9pm.

Cornwall Council has advised people 'to take extra care if travelling in these conditions and to stay away from exposed coastal locations.'
