TO celebrate the completion of a programme to update and improve the facilities offered at Yelverton War Memorial Hall and Field, the hall's committee has launched a new website.
Yelverton War Memorial Hall and Field has a long history of providing the local community with a venue for a wide-ranging selection of indoor and outdoor activities.
From clubs such as tennis to karate, from children's parties to Saturday bingo, from bowling to football, the committee works to accommodate all generations and interests.
The website has largely been the hard work of one of the committee members, Graham Lane, with the professional expertise of Keith Parriss.
The main purpose of the site is to show the public the available facilities and allow a 'shop window' for the local groups and organisations using the hall.
