THE construction of a new building at Okehampton Medical Centre is putting increased pressure on parking facilities at the centre.

The new building at the centre will house a new dispensary, waiting area, five consulting rooms and a treatment room.

There will also be additional staff facilities, including a meeting room.

The build is going well, but from March 18, parking at the centre is due to become extremely restricted due to movement of heavy plant onto the site.

The centre is asking patients who can to find alternative parking during the next few weeks and months as the build progresses, and has expressed thanks to the patience of their patients during the building work.
