TAVISTOCK Music and Arts Festival was officially launched by the mayor of West Devon, Cllr Terry Pearce, at The Wharf on Tuesday.

The festival includes a huge range of events in and around the town, guaranteed to appeal to all musical and artistic tastes, ranging from dance workshops, classical music, rock, jazz and song from the young and not-so-young.

Programmes for the festival are available at many outlets in the town, including the Times reception desk.
