I WRITE to deplore most strongly the loss of the 84 bus service through Whitchurch.

This will cause great difficulty and distress to many Whitchurch residents.

Why has parking along Whitchurch Road suddenly become an issue? I have lived in Whitchurch for 26 years; there have always been cars parked along Whitchurch Road because many houses have no garages or off road parking.

I appreciate the bus company?s concern for rural areas. Why was there no concern for the hundreds of people in Whitchurch suddenly and without warning losing their bus service?

The whole of Tavistock Town Council is unanimous in condemning the loss of the Whitchurch 84 service.
