CADET karters, Max Williams and Alex Waterhouse from West Devon had a good day at round six of the Dunkeswell Kart Club Cadet Championship, held at Mansell Raceway near Honiton.
In glorious sunshine the 20 kart grid provided some excellent racing and both Max and Alex improved on their starting positions in all the heats, to put themselves on row two of the grid for the final. With the lap times of the top six within 0.2 of a second it was always going to be close and both drove superbly, with Max finishing third and Alex fourth - both coming second in their respective classes. Alex is now second in the championship with two rounds to go. The next race is the South West Championships at Mansell Raceway on August 30 and 31.
