TWO students from Tavistock College are going through to the next round of the National Intermediate Maths Challenge after achieving gold awards.
Samantha Murphy (year ten) and Rohan Heatley (year nine) gained top results in the competition organised by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust for students aged 14-16.
Seventeen pupils from the college took part and silver awards were presented to year ten students Bethan Shillabeer, Sam Bolam, Luke Harrison and Tom Atkinson and year nine students Philip Webb and Matthew Wollaton. A bronze award went to Antony Butcher from year ten.
