A POPULAR East Cornwall pub will be welcoming new owners in the form of Masterchef winner Anton Piotrowski.
Anton, who was named joint winner of the TV cookery show in 2012, and his wife Clare bought the Springer Spaniel pub at Treburley, near Stoke Climsland last week.
The couple already own the award-winning Treby Arms in Sparkwell, and Anton is planning to create a new menu for the Springer Spaniel along with his sous-chef Ali Fraser, who will oversee the day-to-day running of the new kitchen.
The couple are planning to take on the pub's existing staff. It will remain trading until February 2, when it will close for a few days for a freshen up and reopen on February 7.
