'CHALLENGE me!' — that's the call being made by master chef Peter Gorton of the Horn of Plenty in Gulworthy.
Having completed two London marathons and numerous running challenges, Peter feels it is high time he hung up those running shoes and did something else out of the ordinary to raise money for the charity close to his heart —the Children's Hospice South West.
But to get people involved Peter wants anyone and everyone to conjure up a creative challenge for him to complete.
Peter said he would love to undertake a challenge which is different.
He said: 'I have done a couple of marathons back to back and I now want people to come up with ideas of what they want me to take on next in aid of the children's hospice.
'Anybody, even a school, can challenge me to come down to the area to raise money for the children's hospice — from anything like making a hundred pancakes to cooking a meal on a barbecue — as long as it raises money and gets everyone involved.
'Any ideas for challenges are welcome. It is called "Challenge Peter" but if a school also wants to take part then they can — it's for everyone.'
Anyone with ideas can call Peter at the Horn of Plenty on 01822 832528.
