IN CELEBRATION of the firm's 250-year anniversary and to raise money for charity, employees from chartered surveyors King Sturge including retired partner Tim Stapleton from Chillaton took part in a cycle ride between Edinburgh and Plymouth.
Teams of staff working in the dozen offices between the two locations took part with the toughest part of the leg from Exeter to Plymouth via Dartmoor.
The group of 25 cyclists stopped off at the Two Bridges Hotel which provided much needed refreshments on one of the hottest days of the summer.
The overall aim is to raise £250,000 to be divided between The Children's Trust which supports families with children with multiple disabilities, and The Orchid Trust, which supports research for those with male cancer.
