Walkhampton Market and Coffee Shop is celebrating its fourth year this year and has, in that short time, become an institution in the village.

The opportunity to meet friends for coffee, tea and home-made cakes as well as being able to buy basics from local providers, has rapidly established itself as a fixture on the calendar for both village people and for those from the wider surrounding area.

As well as locally reared organic meat and eggs, there are home-baked goods and preserves, bread, fairtrade tea and coffee, plant stalls, craft stalls, handmade jewellery, honey and bees wax produce, cut flowers, a gardening advice stall and various charity stalls, including Operation Sunshine and many more.

The market is open in Walkhampton Village Hall from 10am to noon every Saturday.
