IN the ladies July medal at Yelverton Golf Club the division one winner was Margaret Flanagan with a nett 74 and the runner-up was Marie Deeny, nett 83.

In division two the winner was Denise Wills, nett 73, and second Lilias Strachan, nett 78.
In the club championships, played over 36 holes in one day, 13 ladies took part.
The winner of the Underhill Scratch cup was Gilly Jarvis with a score of 75 + 77 = 152 gross.
This is the 11th time Gilly has won this trophy. She now equals the record of the late Bunty Salz of Yelverton.
The winner of the Underhill Handicap trophy was Belinda McSherry with 67+70 = 137 nett.
