OKEHAMPTON Golf Club ladies' section's summer knockouts have now been played and congratulations go to the winner of the Jarman Bowl, Marcia Holwill, and the Rose Bowl, Amanda Clifford.
A frantic round of friendly matches has taken place during the summer, good golf has been played and lots of new friends have been made.
Marcia Jones and Marcia Holwill made it to the final of the Willes Little but lost at Teign Valley to Torquay. A great effort.
The summer eclectic has finished and Marcia Holwill was the winner of the gross prize with Doris Jewell winning the nett.
There have been some good scores in the monthly competitions and a few more handicap cuts.
