CARDS for Good Causes is searching for someone to share the role of manager in its Tavistock multi-charity Christmas card shop at the United Reformed Church, on Russell Street. The manager?s duties include supervising the day-to-day running of the shop, organising a rota of voluntary helpers, re-ordering stock, and paperwork. No previous retail experience or special skills are needed for this role. Additional volunteers are also needed to staff the shop. The shop will commence trading on Thursday, October 18 and continue through to Tuesday, December 18. Doors will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm from Monday through to Saturday. Tavistock is one of more than 300 outlets operated by Cards for Good Causes Limited. The participating charities receive at least 80p in every £1 from their card sales.
