PEOPLE are encouraged to make sure they are registered to vote at the Cornwall Council and local parish and town council elections on Thursday, May 2.

The council published a new register of electors on March 1 to reflect changes to some electoral divisions and parish ward arrangements.  In order to vote at the elections your name must be on this register.

Anyone who is not registered, or whose name or address has changed in recent months, must apply to register by Wednesday, April 17 to be in time for the elections.
