WITH a General Election expected by June next year, now is the time to ensure residents are registered to vote.

West Devon Borough Council's electoral office recently sent out its annual canvass form to be completed by all householders.  For anyone who has not responded yet, reminders will be dropping on doormats very soon and residents have until mid November to complete the form.

If details remain unchanged, electors are able to register online, by Freephone or by text to confirm their information in minutes. These facilities have been available to West Devon electors for some time now and have been very successful.

Remember that these options are only available to those households where the details remain unchanged.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the canvass period.   

Those households whose circumstances have changed, must complete the forms as normal and return them by post.
